ABOUT THE PROJECT
Written from the perspective of a schoolgirl in Iran, "Kelaas Shuru Shod (Class has Begun)" is an international Iranian-Reggaton song about FREEDOM and honoring the brave, young women/students who are leading Iran's #WomanLifeFreedom Revolution. Dancing is illegal under the Islamic Republic regime... I knew if I was going to make a song on this subject... it had to be an emboldening dance song. I hope this song and video brings joy, strength, and defiance to your heart. I hope it inspires you to keep fighting for the simple joys that make this life worth living. - Ashley
