Ashley Zarah is an Iranian artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her Iranian-influenced pop music represents the sound of “Iranian-America,” fusing musical traditions to entertainingly heal trauma while showcasing the beauty and richness of Persian-Judean culture. Once coining her genre as Dark-Pop; Zarah’s dissonant and Iranian-influenced pop plays with the relationship between color and darkness; bringing to light our darkest demons who turned out to be the most fun to dance with, reminding any troubled heart that no pain is worth the disposal of a life.
